SpamArrow integrates the power of the award-winning open-source spam filter named SpamAssassin as spam filter engine. SpamAssassin uses a wide variety of local and network tests to identify spam signatures. This makes it harder for spammers to identify one aspect which they can craft their messages to work around.
Without any configuration or training, SpamAssassin can block 70-80% spams. With continue using, it can achieve 99.99% accuracy to identify spam. However, SpamAssassin is an Unix based software. Now with SpamArrow, you can use it under Windows, even integrated with the most popular mail client Outlook Express.
SpamArrow automatically identifies incoming spam e-mail through the SpamAssasin spam filter engine. Email that has been identified as spam is moved to the special Spam folder named ‘SpamArrow’.
After SpamArrow scan and classify emails for you, please check your Inbox and ‘SpamArrow’ folders. If you are not satisfied with the result, the “Junk Mail” and “Good Mail” buttons will make correction and help SpamArrow remember your preferences.
SpamArrow adds four toolbar buttons to your Outlook Express interface. You can easily use the toolbar to fight spam. Everyone can learn how to use it within minutes. With a few mouse clicks, your inbox will be clear.
