NewsPro handles Usenet newsgroups on multiple servers; in fact, it uses no default news server. It may take some getting used to for most users but could be what you're looking for.

You can add multiple newsgroups and view them in an Explorer-style expandable tree. Different views and separate message filters can be reused.

NewsPro uses the faster news server to download articles, and its multithreading capabilities retrieve more than one at a time.

It features fast synchronization of headers, has excellent search capabilities, and works through firewalls.

It also handles images (including display of .jpg files) and both MIME and UUE encoding. Other features include reposting of prior messages and attachments, import/export, bookmarks, and printing.

The operation of NewsPro is a little different from other newsreaders, so those familiar with another program will have to spend some time getting used to it.

Additionally, new users may find the multiple-window capabilities of the program daunting.
