KozMos AutoTableX V2 a nice tool designed to integrate the drawn table and AcdbTable with Excel so that we can process the table content modification within Excel to use Excel's great feature such as quick contents filling.

There are two types of tables in AutoCAD: one is the native AcDbTable object in AutoCAD2005 and above, the other is a drawn table combined with of line and annotation objects.

An AcDbTable can be converted into a drawn table very easily, but the reverse procedure is so difficult to do manually. This means we can not use the new AcDbTable features on old drawn tables unless we can convert the old table into AcDbTable.

It is undoubted that Excel is still the most convenient and powerful tools in building tables, but the Excel spreadsheet is NOT the result we want.

If we can link the AutoCAD tables with Excel spreadsheet and convert among the three types, we then can choose the most proper table to use at any time.

Aided by KozMos AutoTableX, we can modify contents of any existing drawn table or AcDbTable directly within Excel and get dynamic synchronization preview.

AutoTableX-Convert:
We can convert between any two types of tables with many powerful and convenient control options:

Drawn table can be exported directly into an AcDbTable or Excel spreadsheet;

AcDbTable can be exploded into drawn table with border line merged or directly into Excel spreadsheet with cells merged.

A drawn table can be created from active Excel spreadsheet with DTEXT or MTEXT as content entity type or directly convert the Excel spreadsheet into AcDbTable without the bug of redundant quotation marks.

AutoTableX-QXLink:
AutoTableX-QXLink will create alive linkages between AcDbTables and Excel spreadsheets, by doing so, an AcDbTable can be modified directly within Excel.
Math functions in AutoCAD2006+ AcDbTables will also be recorded and transferred between AutoCAD and Excel.
