IDEAL Dispatch manages the installation and running of software and scripts on network servers and client machines.
Using IDEAL Dispatch, you can remotely install Windows patches, run scripts or update software on all the servers and client workstations in your network.
IDEAL Dispatch is made up of three elements:
IDEAL Dispatch Console
IDEAL Dispatch Server
IDEAL Dispatch Agent
IDEAL Dispatch Console manages all the distribution servers. This tool allows you to add and delete distribution servers and also to create distributions on these different servers. IDEAL Dispatch Console can manage an unlimited number of distribution servers. Installation is carried out automatically and remotely, with no human action and on any server or workstation running Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Windows 2003.
IDEAL Dispatch Server, also called the distribution server, installs the distribution agents as well as the software and scripts on the workstations defined for a distribution. The agents are installed automatically and installation can be scheduled for a particular day and time.
