What is ImageIsland? It is a very simple, web-based image management web application.

ImageIsland is created for the home user who wants to quickly and easily upload photos to their web site using a simple web browser. ImageIsland allows you to manage images, photos and web-based imagery via a simple web interface online inside your current web site.

What's more, ImageIsland has no database install, no complicated user interface, no special setup features, no subscription requirements, and is very inexpensive!

    ImageIsland© is simply a folder of ASP (VBScript) and ASP.NET web files that combined together on your web site and server, create a beautiful web site application that you can access using a simple web browser! The software is very simple to use and comes with a very basic interface. The interface allows you to access one of several Modules and Skins. These two sections allow you to manage your images and control the look and feel of the web product.

    ImageIsland© is very simple to use! It comes with a Module called the ImageManager Module, which allows you to upload JPEG's, GIF's, PNG's, and BMP files to your site. Files can be named, rotated and rescaled. Using the ImageViewer Module, you can assign these images to a "public" web page you can then link to using a simple url created for you.

    Each Image View page you create even comes with handy email feature so you can send friends and family a link to your view page. Comes with several free Skins as well, so you can customize the look-and-feel of your ImageIsland installation. A special Security Module allows you to lock down modules and make them "private", so only you can access them using a simple login. Finally, a Settings Module is helpful in showing and hiding parts of the interface, and setting a default skin for the product.
