ThumbFactory is a complete low cost thumbnailing solution for websites that need to display large numbers of images.

ThumbFactory uses an advanced pixel averaging technique that can produce some of the best thumbnails you will see on the net. The computational requirements of the technique employed may cause ThumbFactory to appear slightly slower than other thumbnailers as it generates images.

The current version of ThumbFactory thumbnails GIF, JPEG , BMP and PNG images and always writes thumbnails as JPEGs.

  • Extremely high quality thumbs using an advanced pixel averaging technique
  • Thumbnail indexes can be either HTML tables or contact sheet image maps
  • Thumbnail quality can be reduced for smaller file sizes and faster loading
  • Automatic addition of "back","index","forward" links
