  • quickly get precise results as focalpoint makes initial adjustments to contrast and brightness then allows you to change shadows, midtones and highlights with ease and precision
  • re-focus images that have poor depth of field or out of focus, combined with the sharpen tool can focus any image no matter how blurry it is

  • zoom using the mousewheel and navigate the image with advanced intuitive design
  • 48-bit processing - Each process works with 48-bit color directly as opposed to the standard 24-bit color, resulting in the highest possible quality without degradation of the image.
  • Dynamic preview - The part of the image at the center of the screen is worked on first and progresses outwards towards the edges, so changes made to the settings can be previewed more rapidly at a particular point of interest.
  • Save for web/email - Image can be reduced in size to 5 common preset sizes, so it can be viewed more easily in a web browser or email client. High quality resampling techniques are used to eliminate aliasing.
  • Option to display automatic help when selecting a control on the interface.
  • Retain extra photo information (e.g. EXIF data) when saving to a new jpeg file, and ability to easily view the information (not available in Lite edition).
  • Purchase directly from the application without any hassle, and get automatic updates when they are available.
  • Hyperthreading and multiprocessor support will be available soon, for increased processing speed on Intel Processors.
