You can easily watch your favorite TV programs/videos on your computer's monitor, record it in AVI format, you can handle sets of JPEG images.
ExperTV has got a simple and plain interface with skins, allows to capture video of any compression, adds useful video preview with more features (e.g. desktop mode), can automatically power PC off or suspend, can be extended with third-party video plugins for processing of video stream. It has a number of other useful features.
