RadXtreme is a radiologists personal digital database, teaching file module and authoring application.

This software program is based on open standards such as DICOM, XML, HTML and the data structure is compatible with RSNA MIRC.

RadXtreme Personal features
  • Authoring: Simple, intuitive and easy user interface. Apart from the images, default fields for each case include title, author, keywords, abstract, history, findings, diagnosis, discussion and references. Built in HTML editor allows the user to further refine the authoring and attach any file or document with an HTML link.
  • Image Import: Supports a wide variety of image formats including DICOM, JPG, BMP, PNG, TIFF and AVI to name a few. RadXtreme can directly import PowerPoint slides or only images from a PowerPoint slide or presentation. The program has a built in DICOM server facilitating direct transfer of images from a modality or clinical workstation.
  • Viewing: View all image formats in thumbnail before importing.
  • Database: RadXtreme allows creation and management of a single or multiple teaching file databases locally on a personal computer or across a shared network with removable media support. The program is extremely flexible allowing a comprehensive search through the entire database, with user defined category and level of access to each case. RadXtreme is ready for use with existing MIRC databases
  • Presentation: Creation of a PowerPoint presentation using RadXtreme is extremely simple and easy to use, with the flexibility of exporting an entire case or selected images in various display formats. Create your own personal conference case list from the database and display in HTML format.
  • Publication: Create high quality images ready for publication from DICOM or any other format. Images can be resample up to 400% with minimal quality degradation. Supports TIFF format export. Images or case data can be printed or exported to PDF
  • Exchange: Exchange of cases using a built in e-mail program with self extractable ZIP files has never been easier. Cases can be submitted to RSNA MIRC server with a single click.
  • Security: RadXtreme has built in authenticity verification of submitted cases and secure data encryption when exchanging via e-mail or zip files. One can encrypt patient information back to original DICOM files.
  • Support: RadXtreme has a step by step user manual to guide the user from basic to advanced levels. Online technical support and e-mail support are be available.
