The release of Version 2.41 is the culmination of recent major developments in the power, performance and functionality of the PlanLink product. The auto-DFM run incorporates the ability to re-analyse any PCB using the full range of Genesis 2000 ERF models.
All models and DFM functions are clearly defined and user selectable, also included is a “Script Call” feature that enables any existing automation to be placed anywhere within the PlanLink/Genesis process.
An ODB++ viewer has been built in to PlanLink, enabling a general review of board layers and assistance in analysis fault location. A 3D graphic of board structure displays both the layer build and the drilling configuration, plus a comprehensive summary of all layer attributes.
These features and system functionality coupled with the Engineering Job Tracker, Automatic On/Off Hold and direct CAM interface mean that PlanLink is by far the most cost-effective, simple-to-use control and management solution available to PCB Engineering.

The Manufacturing Feasibility Module has been developed from the technologies used within the PlanLink software suite. This module has been introduced to simplify the pre-engineering data evaluation tasks, and exists either as a stand alone option, or fully integrated within the PlanLink software. It is designed as a comprehensive one-stop information gathering and assessment tool with all the real-time benefits of speed, accuarcy and efficiency. This module includes a mulit-format data viewer with the ability to view over 200 different files formats including CAD formats, CAM formats, mechanical drawings, and standard office documents.
