Hide-XP hides any application from your computer screen, just by using one hotkey combination, or even by using the Hide-XP mouse-right-double-click feature.
In a matter of milliseconds you can hide what you want to hide, and nobody will even notice that you are currently running several applications on your machine, as they are just invisible once Hide-XP was in action.
You get all your sensitive material off the computer screen without having to close a single application – you just hide them. And nobody will notice them.
You can also use Hide-XP to make your computer screen black, and nobody will notice that you were currently working on your computer at all. Or, just hide parts of the Windows taskbar, the systemtray icons, or the desktop icons.
All this does Hide-XP, and it does that very fast, by a hotkey combination, or a double click with your mouse' right-button. That can't be easier.
Here are some key features of "HideXP":
Before you can use Hide-XP, you must specifiy the windows you would like to control with it. This can be done with Hide-XPs 'Application Selector', or with the 'My Favorite Applications' feature.
If you would like to control some of the most common Windows and Microsoft Office applications, have a look at the 'Pre-Set Applications' section, as it might contain those applications you would like to control with Hide-XP.
After setting the application windows, the Hide-XP Hotkeys should be set – this can be done in the 'Settings' section.
Once the application windows which should be controlled my Hide-XP have been set, and once Hotkeys have been defined, Hide-XP is ready to be used. As soon as one of the Hotkeys is pressed now, Hide-XP will immediately hide all predefined windows, according to their selection in the specific program sections.
In case Hide-XPs 'Mouse Quick-Hide' feature has been activated, a double-click with the right button of the mouse will also activate Hide-XP and hide choosen windows. As an additonal feature, the 'Mouse Quick-Hide' option can also be used to make the computer screen black. However – this option is currently only available for the 'Mouse Quick-Hide' feature.
Hide-XP works by checking the window titles of all the current applications running on the target computer. In case wildcards are set to be used, Hide-XP will also hide those windows, where the specified part of a window title appears. This guarantees that applications that do change their titles according to the applications status, are also hidden. See the 'My favorite Applications' section for details.
Hide-XP can be set to be executed when Windows launches. It can also set to either display a TrayIcon for fast access, or to hide that icon in order to hide the executed Hide-XP as well.
