WinPass is a program that will help you keep all your passwords organized and secure with 128 bit encryption.
WinPass makes it easy to retrieve the information you need quickly while maintaining strong security. Unlike most password management programs, WinPass operates locally on your PC and not on the Internet. The program can be used by more than one user on the same PC and keeps independent user settings when Windows logon accounts are used.
Create a new WinPass file and enter a master password, which will be embedded into the new file. Start entering your password information into the file. By default, WinPass will 'close' down to the system tray.
By clicking on the key icon or pressing CTRL-Z, you can bring up the quick list which has all your information readily available for you to copy and paste into the appropriate login screens.
You can edit text, add a wallpaper image, change row colors and font colors of individual items when in the adminstrative portion of the program. Any changes made will also show in the quick list.
When you are at a login screen, whether on the Internet or a program on your PC, just bring up the Quick List and double click the item name. The username and password will be automatically entered for you.
Unlike most other password managment programs, WinPass operates solely on your PC and never accesses outside sites or databases to retrieve or send information. WinPass data files are highly encrypted and only you can open your lists. An auto lock feature will keep your data safe even if you leave your PC unattended.
