Sirid is a professional project management software.

Sirid is a professional project management software. Sirid wil let you easily assign report bugs, tasks, record feature requests and manage specifications.
Sirid sends notifications of new bugs and tasks to responsible persons and notifies of upcoming deadlines. Timesheets, graphical statistics and powerful management features help you organize your projects better and keep yourself in schedule.
Sirid is designed to be practical and flexible. You can create user groups with different access rights and options, customize settings for individual users and give them project-specific roles. Sirid is used via an Internet browser, so that all project members can use it from their own workstations and at home without installing any software.
Here are some key features of "Sirid for Windows":
Using Sirid you can effectively record all tasks in your projects and monitor the progress of individual tasks and the projects in whole. You can write a description for the task, set a priority for it, make an estimate on the task duration, set responsible persons and their roles, add attachments to the task and receive notification when the task is completed. The responsible persons can update the task status and report how much time was actually spent on implementing the feature specified by the task.
Sirid also enables you to easily report any bugs in your projects and make sure that they get fixed. You can write a description for the bug, tell how to repeat it, specify the environment and suggest a fix. You can also specify a priority for the bug, set responsible persons and their roles, add attachments to the bug (including such as error logs or screen shots) and also receive a notification when the bug is fixed. The responsible persons can update the bug status and also report the time taken to fix the bug. This will help you monitor the time taken to fix bugs and improve your project development practices.
Project specifications are often written in a word document which is then distributed via email so that eventually every member in the project has a different version of the specification document and the implementation does not match the expectations. When using Sirid you can say goodbye to this kind of problems. Sirid offers a possibility to put all specifications for a project in one centralized place where every project member can access the latest versions of the specifications. You can either use the advanced HTML editor in Sirid to write the specifications, or add attachments to the project.
In order to keep the project together, only certain persons should be able to add tasks to certain projects. But since people who are not among these may still have viable ideas for the projects, Sirid lets them write down their ideas as feature requests. The persons who can add tasks to the project and whom the feature request concerns, can then view the requests and decide to either approve or disapprove them. Either way, a notification will be sent to the person who requested the feature.
The time tracking functionality allows you to track the hours spent by the users separately, and the time spent on certain project. You can use this information to bill your customers and to calculate the salaries of your employees, or to just for monitoring purposes. The users can conveniently manage theirs efforts via the timesheet functionality, which displays their used hours on daily basis.
Sirid allows you to associate any files with almost any items, including tasks, bugs, specifications and feature requests. The files will be uploaded to the server and can then be viewed by the users. You can add, for example, error logs for bugs, screenshots for bugs and tasks, word documents for specifications etc. You can also centrally view and remove the attachments so that you can remove any obsolete and futile attachments from one place.
The language of the entire application (excluding the help documentation) can be changed by simply selecting preferred language from a drop-down menu. Moreover, each user can use the system in his / her own language. All emails will also be sent according to the user's preference. Not only does this make it possible to use Sirid in non-English environments but it also makes it possible to use Sirid in Multilanguage environment where different projects may have different languages. Currently available languages are English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Finnish and Catalan.
Although Sirid shows every user what tasks and bugs the user is responsible for, some things just tend to be forgotten. In order to even further push the responsible persons to finish their tasks in time, Sirid is able to send automatic reminders of unfinished tasks and bugs when their deadline approaches. This can dramatically help you meet the deadlines.
Sirid offers a possibility to write specifications with an advanced HTML editor. This enables you to write informative specifications that can be viewed directly inside Sirid. The HTML editor only works with Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.
You can easily give different users different access rights for each project. Access rights include such as report bugs, view bugs, modify bugs, add tasks, view, tasks, modify tasks, view specifications, modify specifications, etc. Administrator users always have all access rights for all projects but other users do not have any access rights (they cannot even see the projects) unless they are explicitly given to them. You can also specify access rights that apply to all users in the system.
Because the system will most likely contain some confidential information it is possible that some hackers try to break in to the system. In order to prevent any unauthorized usage, Sirid first of all, uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol in all information transfer. Secondly, Sirid contains specific security settings that allow you to for example block IP addresses that are used in trying to break into the system.
Sirid provides some useful statistics regarding the current state of the project. On the statistics page you can easily see how many tasks have not yet been completed, how many bugs are still unfixed, how long the project is estimated to take overall, what is the current completeness status (in percentages) of the project, how good the estimates for task durations have been, and much more.
Lite version does not support this functionality.
It is common that a bug or task has more than one responsible person and that the roles of different people are not the same. For example, one responsible could be the one who actually needs to fix the problem, the second could be a reserve person who will complete the fixing of the task if the head responsible fails to do so for one reason or another, and the third could be someone who is supervising the task and / or has project level responsibility for the task.
Lite version does not support this feature. All responsible persons are head responsibles.
It is common that a bug is related with some task or with some other bugs. Tasks are also commonly related with each other. Sirid lets you specify these relations in order to group bugs and tasks. This will reduce the need to write same information in multiple places and helps the users to see the big picture of the system.
This feature is not included in the Lite version.
Sirid has a comprehensive and highly advanced HTML help system. The help system has almost all the features of the Windows HTML help system, including Contents, Index, Search and search result highlight. The help system is also page-sensitive; pressing the help link or the F1 key on "Report a bug" page will bring forth the help documentation for that page. (Result highlight and F1 only work with Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher.)
Updating server-side software has never been this easy: Sirid allows you to update itself via the HTML interface. Just go to the maintenance page and click the update link. Sirid will then check whether there are new updates available or not, and if there are, it asks you if you want to update. Sirid can also preserve any modifications you have made to the language file.
