This screen saver solution is integrated with a DataPoint runtime client. So now your screen saver presentation can show live data from Excel and databases. This will only work for presentations created with DataPoint Enterprise Edition. The DataPoint data connection refresh rates are automatically set to 1 minute to avoid that you are running the screen saver functionality as a real public information monitor.
To set your MessagePoint properties click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Choose a screen saver. Then select MessagePoint from the available screen savers and click Properties to set your selected presentation and other MessagePoint options.
MessagePoint is available in English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch and Danish.
