myBase Software Developer Kit (SDK) includes both the cross-platform Freeform Database Engine (SSG) APIs and myBase Desktop 5.x Addon/Plugin APIs.
By using the SDK, you (the developer) can either make addons/plugins for myBase Desktop 5.x, or develop your own standalone applications based on our cross-platform Freeform Database Engine, and or design your own highly scalable file formats for any application-specific information.
myBase SDK consists of C++ header files, library binaries, API reference, Sample code, Demo programs and relevant materials.
In order to make addons/plugins for myBase Desktop, you'll need to first look at myBase Desktop Addon/Plugin Specs. If you need to manipulate .nyf databases within your plugins/addons, you'll also need to learn about the SSG APIs.
If you want to develop your own applications based on the SSG freeform database engine, you may skip the Addon/Plugin Specs part, just learn about the SSG database engine APIs.
