LanTraffic is a software testing utility allowing UDP and TCP traffic generation on an IP network.

This traffic generator can be set with a large set of different parameters and manages 32 simultaneous IP connections (TCP or UDP).

Lantraffic allows unitary and load testing with diversified characteristics and traffic-shaping.

LanTraffic is composed of two parts, the Sender and the Receiver.

LanTraffic features
  • the management of user contexts: 'new', 'open', 'save', and 'save as'
  • (1 context is defined as the whole set of parameters for all connections)
  • TCP parameter configuration: 'TCP buffer size' and 'TCP Window size' for the Microsoft TCP/IP stack.
  • statistics display and management of throughput sampling parameters.
  • File downloading between two LanTraffic: so one can recover the absorbed data from a remote LanTraffic
