Zaep's challenge/response based system ensures that a human is sending email to you rather than an automated machine dedicated to sending out spam messages. The challenge also ensures that all sender email addresses exists, which defeats many spammers that use invalid or non-existing addresses for their advertising.
Zaep Standard is designed for home usage where the computer running Zaep is also the computer that collects the email. Using Zaep Professional, you can setup Zaep as a network-wide proxy where computers anywhere on your LAN, or even the Internet, can use Zaep's services.
Zaep is configured using a simple web-based interface with detailed, context-sensitive help documentation. Zaep Professional even supports remote administration so you can configure it while you travel.
The Zaep issued challenge message validates each email in two ways: it verifies the existence of the email account and it verifies that the account goes back to a human. A quick scan of the pending challenges list will assist you in white listing newsletter email addresses.
